In the Mountains of Tōtōmi Province
遠江山中（冨嶽三十六景）
- Bird's-eye View
- Figures
- Mountain
Deep in Tōtōmi Province, workers and logs compete for grandeur. The bird’s-eye / valley viewpoint turns the scene into a lesson in relative scale.
Bird’s-eye angle down into the valley — bodies and trees calibrate Fuji’s size.
Figures and mountain forms interact; follow how felled timber directs the eye to the peak.
Compare laboring bodies here with the Tama River ferry scene.
